Abstract
► We modeled a diffusion absorption refrigerator (DAR) with the binary refrigerant. ► Factors that influence the coefficient of performance are investigated. ► The optimum pressure corresponds to the overall match in the refrigerant recuporator. ► The overall match means heat capacity rates of the hot and cold fluids are equal. ► The DAR can obtain a refrigerating temperature level of −40 °C.
