Abstract
Development of photoluminescent poly(lactide-co-glycolide) copolymers with tunable biodegradability: BPLP-co-PLGA was developed by ring-opening polymerization of l-lactide and glycolide using citrate-based biodegradable photoluminescent prepolymer (BPLP) as a macromolecular initiator. The combination of BPLP and widely-used PLGA is not only a route to the creation of totally biodegradable photoluminescent PLGA, but also an opportunity to demonstrate the production scalability and commercial applications of our innovative polymer, BPLP.160
