Abstract
pH-responsive metal-supramolecular nanogels (SNGs) are fabricated by the metallo-supramolecular-coordinated interaction between Zn-Por and histidine, which can respond to tumor acid microenvironment to release the co-delivered anticancer drug and photosensitizer and enhance their water solubility and stability. The drug-loaded SNGs provide a bifunctional platform for chemotherapy and photodynamic therapy, promising great potential for synergistic cancer treatments.86
