Abstract
- Tubular MFC was operated on two stage BioH2/BioCH4 effluent for effluent polishing.
- MFC performance was determined at five different low organic loading rates.
- Four-module MFC increased energy conversion efficiency per COD consumed by 18.2%.
- MFC was found to be feasible for effluent polishing as part of a three stage bioprocess.
