Targeted iron nanoparticles with platinum-(IV) prodrugs and anti-EZH2 siRNA show great synergy in combating drug resistance in vitro and in vivo

The nanoparticles are prepared by co-assembling platinum-(IV) prodrugs, anti-EZH2 siRNA and LHRH targeting peptides conjugated with PEI coated Fe3O4. The Fe3O4@PEI-Pt(IV)-PEG-LHRH@siEZH2 nanoparticles could reverse the cell cisplatin resistance from pump-relevant and silencing anti-apoptotic defense ways and could be utilized for cisplatin-resistant cancer therapy.206
