Abstract
- A new bi-modular endo-β-1,4-xylanase gene KRICT PX-3 was developed from the whole genome sequence of Paenibacillus terrae HPL-003.
- A wide pH spectrum and highly active xylanase was obtained from E. coli transformants.
- 3-D structure revealed that the enzyme included a xylan binding domain, constitute a distinctive group of xylanases.
