Abstract
⺠Studies on simulation of distillation processes of interest in the alcoholic industry are reviewed. ⺠Thermodynamic modeling of water + ethanol + congener mixtures is analyzed. ⺠Availability of appropriate data for modeling these processes is discussed. ⺠Accuracy of models is evaluated and recommendations for future studies are provided.
