Abstract
⺠Applications of process simulators to distillation of alcoholic mixtures are analyzed. ⺠The usefulness of simulation packages and in particular of ChemCAD is assessed. ⺠Production of whisky, brandy and neutral spirits are simulated. ⺠Simulators can play an important role in optimizing resources and improving process efficiency.
