Selection of DNA aptamers against Human Cardiac Troponin I for colorimetric sensor based dot blot application

- DNA aptamers against Troponin I protein were screened and obtained Selex method.
- Four DNA aptamer against Human Cardiac Troponin I protein were selected.
- TnIApt 19 and 23 have high binding affinity with Kd in the nanomolar range.
- Gold nanoparticle was synthetized and conjugated to streptavidin.
- Simple and rapid colorimetric detection of troponin I were used by the biotin - aptamer and streptavidin-AuNPs based dot blot assay.
