Abstract
- A novel test system to study cell specificity of polymers with cocultures of skin cells was established.
- Primary human keratinocytes and fibroblasts were used in mono- and cocultures.
- The influence of substrate elasticity on skin cells was explored with the test system.
- Higher keratinocyte/fibroblast-ratio on the stiffer polymer network was found.
