Abstract
⺠The first genome-scale metabolic model for Bacillus megaterium was reconstructed and validated. ⺠A core essential metabolic gene set of B. megaterium consisting 57 genes was predicted. ⺠Growth promoting mechanism of B. megaterium for Ketogulonicigenium vulgare was investigated by the model and constraint-based methods.
