Abstract
⺠Hybrid models combining ASM and PLS were developed for monitoring a MBR. ⺠Hybrid models incorporate additional monitoring parameters to improve ASM prediction. ⺠2D fluorescence data was incorporated in addition to operation and analytic data. ⺠Indicators of effluent quality and biomass were successfully modelled. ⺠ASM prediction can thus be improved in real-time without laboratory analysis.
