Abstract
⺠Effect of hypothermic culture on glycoprotein production by rS2 cell was investigated. ⺠Suspension cultures with SF-900 II medium in batch and fed-batch were carried out. ⺠SF-900 II medium presented stoichiometrically limiting aminoacids for rS2 culture. ⺠Hypothermic culture caused lower cell growth and enhanced glycoprotein production. ⺠Hypothermic fed batch culture led to the highest productivity of glycoprotein.
