Abstract
⺠Core-shell nanoparticle Fe3O4/SiO2 is synthesized as supporter for immobilizing lipase. ⺠An alkyl group is grafted on the surface of the nanoparticle for lipase binding. ⺠Burkholderia lipase is immobilized on alkyl-grafted nanocomposite to produce FAMEs. ⺠The immobilized lipase triggers transesterification of olive oil with MeOH.
