Abstract
⺠The previously described process of adaptation to glutamine free growth was reproducible for an EPO-Fc producing recombinant cell line. ⺠The resulting cells performed well in a controlled 800 ml stirred tank batch process. ⺠The produced proteins were of comparable quality to those produced by the parent grown in glutamine containing media. ⺠Only minor effects were observed with respect to protein antennarity.
