Abstract
⺠Human enteropeptidase light chain was expressed in P. pastoris in secreted form. ⺠High cell density cultivation of P. pastoris led to 60-70 mg/L of active enzyme. ⺠AAC promoter permormed on par with GAP promoter and outperformed AOX1 promoter. ⺠The promoter activity is not the limiting factor in case of the rhEP expression. ⺠The activity of immobilized rhEP probably depends on the sorbent surface area.
