Abstract
⺠Photophysics of a new push-pull red-emitting dicyanovinyl-triarylamine in solution. ⺠Emission arises from an intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) excited state. ⺠Femtosecond transient absorption reveals solvent-dependent ICT geometry and dynamics. ⺠Red emission is tunable and switchable by the solvent polarity.
