Abstract
⺠UVA photoreaction of 8-methoxypsoralen (PUVA) generates OH and O2-. ⺠Escherichia coli malate and succinate dehydrogenases can scavenge these radicals. ⺠Information based on malate and succinate dehydrogenase mutants' sensitivity to PUVA. ⺠And on the sensitivity of superoxide dismutase and FAPy-DNA glycosylase to PUVA.
