Abstract
⺠Fluorescence parameters are used to analysis the solubilization of Carvedilol (CVL) by bile salts. ⺠Enhancement of these parameters correlates to the progressive micellization of bile salts. ⺠Parameter (I347/I357) indicates CVL present within non-polar regions of bile salts. ⺠Carbazole moiety of CVL associates with steroidal moiety of bile salts. ⺠Minor interactions between the side chains of CVL and bile salts are possible.
