Abstract
- Enzyme storage in polymer nano-scale material not using traditional immobilization.
- Lactase directly electrospun into polyethylene oxide nanofibers with Pluronic F-127.
- Storage stability and rapid dissolution for bioactive packaging and bioprocessing.
- Nanofiber contained up to 2.5 μg protein/cm2 and retained up to 92% activity.
- Lactase retained 44% activity (of free enzyme) after 4 weeks of storage.
