- Residue-adsorbed cellulase was quantified without the use of colorimetric methods.
- Nitrogen content of residue was successfully measured using an elemental analyzer.
- N content of T. reesei cellulases is 16.5-17.3% based on the amino acid sequences.
- N content of residue was converted to the weight of residue-adsorbed cellulase.
- Initial cellulase loading was estimated based on UV absorption at 280Â nm.
