Abstract
- Biotransformation of 6α-santonin and 1,2-dihyro-α-santonin has been investigated by A. chrysogenum and R. pusillus.
- C1-C2 and C4-C5 double bonds reduction, C-8 hydroxylation and 15-methyl hydroxylation were happened.
- Yields of all metabolites were improved in comparison with previous reports.
- It is the first report of tetrahydro-α-santonin and tetrahydroartemisin by enzymatic approaches.
