Abstract
- An indigenous basidiomycetes fungus Schizophyllum commune ISTL04 was isolated.
- Strain showed desirable extracellular lipase production.
- Increased enzyme production when grown in SSF of Leucaena leucocephala seeds.
- SCI Lipase is thermoalkalotolerant.
- The lipase exhibited tolerance to organic solvents.
