Abstract
- No accumulation of cellobiose because of high β-glucosidase content.
- Pre-treatment of wheat straw with sodium hydroxide allowed a complete enzymatic conversion of this substrate already after 5Â h.
- Lignin has a negative impact on the adsorption behavior of the cellulases and therefore a bad influence on the hydrolysis rate.
