Abstract
- In a mediator screening 2,2â²-azino-bis-(3 ethyl-benzo-thiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) was identified to be a promising candidate for NADH oxidation.
- An electrochemical cofactor regeneration was successful coupled with an alcohol dehydrogenase-catalysed reactions.
- An electrochemical scalable three-dimensional reactor was used to overcome diffusion limitations.
- High TTNs of 1860 for the mediator and of 93 for the cofactor could be achieved.
