Abstract

- A glucosidase gene (Tt-bgl) from T. thermarum DSM 5069T was over-expressed in E. coli.
- Tt-BGL exhibited thermostability, high glucose-tolerance (KiÂ =Â 1.5Â M).
- Tt-BGL biotransformed ginsenoside Rb1 to Rd with 95% yield.
