Abstract
- A bi-enzymatic system for production of chiral mandelic acid was constructed.
- (S)-Mandelate dehydrogenase was used for deracemization and laccase for FMN regeneration.
- Ferro-/ferricyanide was used as redox mediator in the system.
- The enantiomeric excess value of (R)-mandelic acid as a production exceeded 99%.
