Abstract
- Immobilized lipase B from Candida antarctica was applied for transesterification reactions.
- Central composite design and response surface methodology were used.
- Conversions of 93.38% were obtained using CALB-435 and 99.03% using CALB-MCI.
- CALB-MCI kept 75.19% of its initial activity after 8 batches.
