Abstract
▶ β-Glucosidase has a crucial role on the degradation of lignocellulosic biomass. ▶ Immobilization allows reuse of the enzyme and continuous process development. ▶ Amine epoxy heterofunctional support allows high thermal stabilization of enzymes. ▶ β-Glucosidase immobilized on amine epoxy agarose was ca. 200 fold times more stable than soluble enzyme.
