Abstract
ⶠβ-Glucosidase has a crucial role on the degradation of lignocellulosic biomass. ⶠImmobilization allows reuse of the enzyme and continuous process development. ⶠAmine epoxy heterofunctional support allows high thermal stabilization of enzymes. ⶠβ-Glucosidase immobilized on amine epoxy agarose was ca. 200 fold times more stable than soluble enzyme.
