Abstract
Here, we present the synthesis of ultrathin polyaniline (PANI) nanosheets via polymerization of hexaaminobenzene in molten LiCl/KCl. The PANI nanosheets with an ultrathin thickness of 1.6 nm, high surface area (∼395 m2 g−1), and well-defined microporous structure (∼0.54 nm), which exhibits superior sorption property for CO2 and CH4 at room temperature.196
