Abstract
Alumina with nanorod morphology and surface area (1029 m2 g−1) was obtained via calcination of ammonium aluminium carbonate hydroxide (AACH). The Al2O3 prepared at 773 k had a surface area of 491.9 m2 g−1. And the sample exhibited an excellent Cr(VI) removal performance with the maximum adsorption capacity of 52.1 mg g−1.326
