Abstract
It has been reported that 1,120,000 tons of TP mother liquor are to be recovered in the factory of an annual output of 1000 tons of caffeine. In view of the character of the planar arrangement and the small molecular size of theophylline, GQ-06 with micropore surface area 1222.77Â m2/g and specific bimodal pore size distribution was synthesized to explore its application of adsorption for theophylline in aqueous solution. The adsorption capacity of theophylline followed the order XAD-4Â <Â NDA-88Â <Â H103Â
