Abstract
- Ordered silicas (SBA-15) are more suited for organosilane grafting than foams (MCF).
- APTES-grafted MCFs adsorb less CO2 as compared to APTES-grafted SBA-15.
- PEI-impregnated MCF has a higher fraction of chemisorption than physisorption sites.
- Highly disordered MCF with 50% PEI exhibits promising CO2 uptake (2.27 mmol CO2/g).
