Abstract
- A facile process to synthesize highly mesoporous TiC-based composites is reported.
- The novel application of mesoporous TiC composites as the counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cell is studied.
- The doping of silicon greatly refines the carbide grain and promotes the solar cell performance.
- The solar cell with composites counter electrode reaches a preliminary photoelectric conversion efficiency of 5.7%.
