Abstract
Immobilization of Co[N(SiMe3)2]2(thf) on largepore hexagonal SBA-15 and cubic KIT-6 as well as surface posttreatments by surface ligand exchange between silylamido and hydroquinone were investigated. Consecutive layer-by-layer grafting drove the formation of a Co-organicframework by weak Co â O[Me3SiO(C6H4)OR] donor interactions involving silylated hydrochinone moieties, and herefrom led to the alteration of the pore structure (shape and size).
