- Solvothermal detemplation of SBA-15 mesophases has been investigated systematically.
- Recycle of P123 by solvent extraction is questionable as it is EO deficient.
- The thermal shrinkage was a decreasing function of the ageing temperature.
- The thermal shrinkage becomes less pronounced when the material is fully templated.
