Abstract
► Automated diffraction tomography is a new method for electron diffraction data collection. ► ADT data are more complete and kinematic than traditional electron diffraction data. ► ADT allows structure determination of nanocrytsalline porous materials, including light atoms. ► Case studies of inorganic and hybrid structures solved ab initio by ADT data are shown. ► Advantages and recurrent problems of ADT methods are stressed.
