Abstract
► We study the phase separation of ternary liquid mixtures. ► Our theoretical model follows the standard diffuse-interface model. ► Hydrodynamics is coupled with thermodynamics of ternary phase field variables. ► Two examples are studied using a second-order finite element method. ► We discuss the morphology development and domain growth during the phase separation.
