Abstract
► CuSCN nanowires (NWs) were electrodeposited from an aqueous electrolyte. ► The CuSCN nanowires are grown at room temperature without a template. ► They exhibit high crystalline quality and are c-axis oriented. ► The applied potential and the molar ratio SCN−/Cu2 + influence the NWs diameter. ► Their length could reach several micrometers depending on passed charge density.
