Electrodeposition of graphene-supported PdPt nanoparticles with enhanced electrocatalytic activity

► Graphene‐supported PdPt nanocomposite was prepared by two-step electrodeposition. ► The electrocatalyst on glassy carbon electrode is surfactant-, reductant- and fixative-free. ► This composite exhibits high electrocatalytic ability and stability for methanol oxidation. ► The method is of significance for the preparation of Pd-based catalysts on electrodes directly.
