Abstract
⺠Hydrogen permeation behavior during phase transformation in TRIP steel was evaluated. ⺠New permeation technique avoids rupture of Pd layer even under plastic deformation. ⺠Dislocation generation and martensitic decomposition of γ govern hydrogen permeation. ⺠Phase transformation from γ to αⲠleads to increase in hydrogen diffusivity and flux. ⺠Increase in permeation flux is due to the increase in the fraction of mobile hydrogen.
