Abstract
⺠l-α-Alanine supported on γ-Al2O3 as desulfurization adsorbent. ⺠The adsorbent exhibited an excellent activity on SO2 removal. ⺠Water vapor promoted SO2 removal and low temperature was conducive for the process. ⺠SO2 adsorbed on the adsorbent via weak and strong adsorption. ⺠The adsorbent had an excellent regeneration performance.
