Abstract
The tested Ad-HEx configuration is proved to be quite efficient: the specific cooling power amounts to 50-66% of that obtained with the reference (ideal) one, and the average specific cooling power W80% can reach 2.3Â kWÂ kgâ1. This power is 6-8 times higher than those reported in the literature for full scale Ad-HExs with similar cell geometry. Thus, the study showed that there is still a big room for significant dynamical improvement of real ACH units.
