Abstract
- A soft computing MPPT method for PV system, based on Cuckoo Search (CS) is proposed.
- The method exhibits outstanding Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) capability, good transient performance and fast convergence.
- CS successfully handles the partial shading condition.
- Compare to prominent MPPT methods, P&O and PSO; CS shows improved MPP tracking performance and higher efficiency.
