Abstract
⺠A multi-zone model is presented capable to predict the heat flux and the quenching distance of laminar syngas flames. ⺠Quenching distance of syngas-air mixtures decreases with increasing heat flux. ⺠This tool is essential for estimate the flame quenching properties where the measurement is not possible such as in engines.
