Abstract
⺠Heat transfer and devolatilization properties of pelletized municipal recovered solid waste fuels were investigated. ⺠Significant swelling was observed during pyrolysis of pelletized municipal recovered solid waste fuels. ⺠SEM images of char produced from the pyrolysis of recovered solid waste under different temperature were analyzed. ⺠A detailed discussion was given for the mechanism of the swelling phenomena during the pyrolysis of recovered solid waste.
