Abstract
⺠We study optimized diesel engine with diesel/biodiesel blend using H2 and cooled EGR. ⺠Optimal factors by Taguchi method for good combustion performance, low NOX, smoke. ⺠Using Taguchi method uses 67% less time than the conventional experiment does. ⺠We improve brake thermal efficiency, pressure, and heat release at optimized engine. ⺠At 60% load, the reduction rate is 25.4% for BSFC, 74.1% for NOX and 29.6% for smoke.
