Abstract
⺠Blending castor oil with palm and jatropha oils improved the yield of solvent-free enzymatic methanolysis reaction. ⺠Blending 20% castor oil with jatropha oil raised the yield of solvent-free enzymatic methanolysis to 78.3%. ⺠Adding 50% castor oil to palm oil increased the yield of solvent-free enzymatic methanolysis to 76.2%. ⺠The yield of solvent-free enzymatic methanolysis of blended oils exceeded the maximum theoretical yield of lipozyme TL IM.
