Abstract
⺠Enzyme production in Saccharomyces cerevisiae can be greatly improved by overexpressing native genes. ⺠Overproduction SOD1 and PSE1 can increase cellulase production more than threefold. ⺠This paves the way for more efficient enzyme production by cellulolytic yeast. ⺠This may be imperative to creating optimal strains for consolidated bioprocessing.
