Abstract
⺠A power generation and heat recovery model for internal combustion engines is developed. ⺠The model provides performance/efficiency maps for electrical power output and thermal output. ⺠The model serves as an alternative to constant engine efficiencies or empirical efficiency curves. ⺠The simulation results using the proposed model are validated against manufacturer's data. ⺠The proposed model is coded in FORTRAN and a user-friendly tool was developed.
